Grand Harbor is one of Lake Conroe's smaller gated communities offering a peaceful, relaxed environment with less traffic and more space between properties than the traditional subdivision plans offer.
Located on Walden road just a half mile away from the entrance to Walden itself. The main entrance to Grand Harbor is equipped with a Guarded Entrance that greets visitors wishing to enter the neighborhood. Grand Harbor also has a back gate on Peel Road which connects to FM 1097 providing quick access to downtown Montgomery and close proximity to the High School and Intermediate school. The back gate can only be entered by members of the community with the appropriate access tag on their vehicle.
Residents of Grand Harbor enjoy a large park located in the center of the community complete with a Baseball field, Tennis courts, walking trails, large open field for football or soccer, Volley Ball court, and an outdoor building for gatherings or parties.
Grand Harbor offers lakefront access in two primary segments of the neighborhood. The main road divides Grand Harbor and separates into to parts. The open water real estate side with large waterfront estates and the more residential area with canals that offer both interior and canal frontage homes and homesites. The canals can be a more economical option for obtaining waterfront living without paying open water prices.
Many of the school students living in Grand Harbor go to Madely Ranch Elementary which is less than 5 miles down Walden Road from Grand Harbor. Leaving through the back gate provides quick access to Montgomery Intermediate, Middle, and High School via FM 1097 into downtown Montgomery.
Grand Harbor is a great option for all of these factors and a neighborhood you should consider visiting.
